Fall Semester- Sigma Nu Slam
For Sigma Nu's Fall Philanthropy, we held the Second annual Sigma Nu Slam. Sigma Nu Slam is a tennis tournament dedicated to raising money for the The Paul "Bear" Bryant Awards. The Paul "Bear" Bryant Awards program recognizes excellence in college football coaching, both on and off the field, but also preserves the memory of one of the greatest college football coaches of all time and Sigma Nu alumnus – Paul "Bear" Bryant. Since 1986, following his death in 1983 of a heart attack, the Bryant Awards have benefited the mission of the American Heart Association by raising well over $5,000,000. That being said, the Mu Psi chapter has decided to assist in supporting the cause to help people all over the world. "So how do I get involved and participate in Sigma Nu Slam?" To participate, you must be a part of a greek organization, but if you're not, we would like to invite you to come check out Sigma Nu and join the cause to help raise money for the AHA. Donations are always welcomed as well. If you would like to request the official packet or if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email Matthew Gruda at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at (305)613-6651.

The purpose of our philanthropy is to acquire donations of clothes for Goodwill that will help benefit the Central Florida area. This annual event, which started in the spring of 2009, is on to it's 5th year running strong.
